Spirito’s Italian Grocery is growing, and we’re looking for a solid new team member to join our crew.

We’re a family-owned Italian deli and specialty market in the heart of Historic Main Street, Collinsville—known for our famous Italian Sammies, high-quality products, and genuine hospitality. 🧀 Position Overview:

Sammie Artist / Cashier / Deli Crew
Part-time with flexible scheduling (>20 hours per week)
Opportunities for growth into full-time and leadership roles

💼 Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and help them through the order or checkout process

• Slice meats and cheeses to order (we’ll train you)

• Build sandwiches, prep take-home meals, and stock the deli

• Operate the register and bag groceries

• Keep workstations clean and assist with end-of-day cleaning

• Work as part of a team and help wherever needed

🎯 What We're Looking For:

• Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs

• Strong communicator with a positive attitude

• Experience in food service, deli, or prep work is a plus—but not required

• Interest in Italian food and culture is always welcome

📅 Scheduling & Perks:

• On-site/Working hours: Tues–Fri 8a–7p | Sat–Sun 8a–3p

• Flexible scheduling with two weeks’ notice

• Some blackout dates apply during peak seasons

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
